THE RELATIONSHIP OF HUMANITY WITH NATURE
Human Nature: My Oxygen
The current global health pandemic leads us to question humanity relationship with nature. Since the lockdown where implemented all over the world, specially big cities like metro manila who had a big contribution on air pollution PM2.5. Because of the lockdown the air pollution PM2.5 in metro manila had dropped to a third of their normal level in some part of the city. That is why Sierra Madre Mountain Range had seen again after long decades.
The global health pandemic give opportunity to the people specially to me to take good care of nature since we are inside our home. Many of us are experiencing break downs because of lockdown and we revived our attention into taking care of plants. In this past months when lockdown where implemented I used my time in planting and look for new abilities. I didn't even know that I could plant until the lockdown happened. In our backyard we have plants and tress. We harvest fruits like pomelo, short coconut tree, langka, bayabas, and banana. The best part is I learned how to take care a watermelon because accidentally a watermelon spourt in the side of our house. Maybe it is because we are buying watermelon every week and throw seed beside our house.
The pandemic remind us that humans and nature are connected together. It is a strong bond that nature is the one that keep us alive physically and even mentally. This is a challenge to the humanity specially their are events that happened around the globe that the forest are burning and we as human should protect it and take good care of nature because it is the one that gives us oxygen to breath, food to eat, and shelter to keep us safe and this are keeping us alive.
